Wow, Wow, WOW!!!
What a night, what a fantastic event and what an absolutely amazing amount of money raised!!! over £409,000 and the figure continues to grow, with the raffle of ‘Pablo’ the Circus Hare.

Thanks goes out to Helen Vinsen and Break Charity for asking me along to capture the evening and I am so happy to have been a part of it and witness the absolute love and joy these Hares brought to peoples lives!

Even seeing the artist of @Hare-LeQuin, the wonderful Samantha Elmhurst, bid on her own Hare and won it back for her to keep at her home! Absolutely amazing!

Jake Humphrey, one of the patrons of Break, was there to introduce the evening along with Hilary Richards, chief executive, with some very touching stories about why Break is so important to children in the area and thanked everyone for their continued support, but also to gee them up to try and make as much money in the auction as possible!

The Hare with the highest bid was the Hepta-Hare which is covered in 50p pieces. It was bought by Simon Franklin, who, like myself with my son Jude, collected 50p pieces from an early age for his daughter and wanted to get it for her as she fell in love with it! My bid got lost a long time before it got to the selling price of £21,500!

Break Harepower was also bought by Wilco who sponsored it and both Wilco and the artist Joanne Botterill were celebrating it’s return to the store.

I hope you all enjoy the photos from the evenings event and feel free to share to family and friends 🙂

Until next time, GoGo Battle Of Britain maybe to celebrate it’s 80th anniversary? Who knows!
